Haibun Poem with Tanka.
A man stood in a parking lot and laid out life from A to Z. Those who heard were in for a treat. Wisdom spun from his tongue like water raging down a river. Fast and smooth, each word came. Nothing could stop what he had to say. Nothing could stop the audience from taking hold of his phrases. When he finished, enlightenment presented itself like the sun on a bright summer’s day. We must not worry and live for the moments in life; embrace every second and don’t waste a single one. Walk forward and let nothing hold you back.
Fear conquers the world, Our minds feed on her disease. Therefore, clear your mind — Stop and understand one thing We’re our own worst enemy.
Do you agree?
