Seems Monopolies Are Legal In The U.S.

When it comes to food. Even though laws state otherwise...

Like typical fascist fashion, four corporations, if not already, control the U.S. meat supply chain. But it gets better. Our sworn enemy, China (CCP), dominates the pork industry. This is a monopoly. An illegal practice that forces ranchers into unfair contracts for corporate advantage. If the cattlemen refuse to accept the terms, dire consequences await. They won't be able to sell their livestock.

Monopoly

An economic advantage held by one or more persons or companies deriving from the exclusive power to carry on a particular business or trade or to manufacture and sell a particular item, thereby suppressing competition and allowing such persons or companies to raise the price of a product or service substantially above the price that would be established by a free market.

Today's government-led corporate monopolies hold hostage 85% of the meat processing market compared to 25% in the 70s. Which only cripples the farmer's profit. And as BigAg raises prices across the board, local cattle producers can't compete. In the end, they’re forced out of business. Not too long ago, these ranchers would bring in close to 62 cents for every consumer dollar spent. Today, they collect a mere pittance of 37 cents. And, sadly, it could be less since the airing of the video. Sick and twisted, I know.

Besides the above, more challenges await with China's control over pork.

No food safety regulations or enforcement.

It's known food imported from China is contaminated and has unauthorized additives. One such chemical in question is Clenbuterol. It's given to livestock, and when the meat's consumed by humans, it's dangerous. This chemical causes adverse reactions, which include:

  • increased heart rate,

  • palpitations,

  • tremors,

  • nausea,

  • vomiting,

  • dizziness,

  • elevated blood pressure,

  • cardiac arrhythmias,

  • heart damage,

  • and the new normal, life-threatening conditions.

Another fun fact, China's pork industry has suffered from disease outbreaks. One disease they seem to get hit with is the African Swine Fever (ASF). I find this interesting, as it's not that common, except when it comes to the food supply chain. So when the so-called outbreak occurs, wink-wink, nudge-nudge, we see pigs slaughtered, the supply chain slowed, and most important, increased prices.

Aren't monopolies wonderful?

It's time people take a hard stance and stop buying anything BigAg or China offers. As long as we continue to support the monopoly, we continue to destroy our future.

Buy local at all times. It's the only way we protect ourselves.

Godspeed, my friends, godspeed.
