Let’s Break Away From the Politics Today and Reflect
When all hope’s lost, and we feel there’s no way out, emptiness consumes our soul. It’s as if the devil entered and won’t release his grip. We feel forsaken: God no longer hears our cries. Then, our thoughts become poisoned; sanity escapes as the world seems flipped upside down. But if we take a step back, sit in silence, and pray for God to soothe our souls, He will.
He’ll heal us in our time of need, save us from the path of destruction. And renew our minds to a state of harmony.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
(Psalms 103:2-5, KJV)
Sometimes the trials we face may seem like there’s no way out. But, if when we have faith and trust the Lord, God, the seas begin to calm.
The next time you feel like it’s the end of the line, don’t despair. Instead, bow in silence and ask God for deliverance from the horror you face.
So, stay safe and keep the faith. God is always there to guide you along your way. For a litte lite reading, check out A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23 by W. Phillip Keller.
Lets start a conversation.
A few question to get the thought process going.
How do we find solace and strength within ourselves during the darkest moments, when it feels like the world is against us and even faith seems to waver?
In times of despair and hopelessness, how can we restore our faith in the face of adversity, even when it appears that our pleas are unheard?
Reflecting on Psalms 103:2-5, how can we interpret the message to reclaim our sanity and overcome the grip of darkness that sometimes engulfs our lives?
