ChatGPT & Bard AI, Master's of Disinformation
All Topics Included, Nothing Escapes, Bonus PDF Included!
I posted this originally as a note, but after thinking about it, I want a larger audience to understand the dangers lurking around every corner.
Here I’ll show you how dangerous AI tools like ChatGPT and Bard AI are. They lie and promote false, misleading information even on the simplest ask. That is why I do not use them. And this is why you cannot use them for research either.
Let Begin with Bard:
Provide a quote that captures the essence of the short story form. The authors can be between the early to mid-1900s.
Response: "The short story is a sudden flash of lightning that illuminates a character or situation in a single moment of truth." - Guy de Maupassant (1850-1893)
My Reply: the quote does not exist. It’s made up and not factual.
Response: You are correct, the first quote I gave you, "The short story is a sudden flash of lightning that illuminates a character or situation in a single moment of truth," is not a real quote. I apologize for providing you with incorrect information.
ChatGPT
Most will never fact-check as they believe AI is perfect, truthful, and filled with wisdom. It’s not, it utter bullshit. And this pattern goes across ALL topics, doesn’t matter what it is.
Now, let’s test.
Prompt: Please provide a quote about short stories and the essence of them. The author’s quote must exist and not be a false quote.
Response: "I find short stories as little windows into other worlds, capturing the essence of life in just a few pages, like a fleeting glimpse of a beautiful sunset. They hold within them the power to transport us, evoke emotions, and leave an indelible mark on our hearts." — Isabella Allende
My Reply: That quote does not exist. Where did you get it from?
Response: I apologize for the confusion. The quote I provided earlier is not a genuine quote from Isabella Allende or any other author.
I asked one more time and its response for an early to mid-1900 author was:
Response: "A short story is a different thing altogether – a short story is like a kiss in the dark from a stranger."
Stephen Vincent Benét
Stephen Vincent Benét was an American author, poet, and short story writer during the early to mid 1900s. This quote captures the essence of short stories in a creative and evocative manner.
My Reply: This is from Stephen King.
Response: I apologize for the mistake. You are correct. The quote "A short story is a different thing altogether – a short story is like a kiss in the dark from a stranger" is indeed from Stephen King. Thank you for pointing out the correction. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
Closing
If these tools lie on the simplest ask, what do you think they will do with anything medical, health, religious, or political related? I have the answer to these as well, and I can assure you it’s much worse.
These tools create a web of false knowledge and an army of people with limited superficial self-proclaimed wisdom. It’s the purest form of a propaganda machine for a woke communist agenda. We saw how people believed everything the government told them about the bioweapon. They injected it straight into their veins. Now, if they believed that lie, what other lies will they believe? Even after we warned them, they turned a blind eye. And what do you think they'll do with AI-provided information? They'll believe anything AI tells them. Why? Because it's AI.
The only way to fight back, promote truth at all costs. It doesn’t matter if you get banned or censored from platforms. You preach the truth without mercy. You teach people how to think with a critical mind. Tell them point-blank to stop watching all forms of mainstream news. And if they tell you to get lost, then get lost. Those are the fools who'll turn you in when things get hard. It's these sheep you want nothing to do with in the first place. If their eyes aren't opened by now, and after your last ditch attempt, they'll never be.
If you made it this far, here’s a little bonus. A conversation with Bard AI to show its willful manipulation of events.
So, all I can say, godspeed, keep the faith and peace.
Love you all, my substack family.
